The Minutes of the Meeting held on 2nd March 2005 were confirmed and signed.

APOLOGY FOR ABSENCE
(Agenda Item 2)
An apology for absence was received from Mrs C E Savage.

DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS
(Agenda Item 3)
The following interests were declared:
Mrs P Ellis declared a personal interest in agenda item 5.1 (applications WA04/2587 and WA05/0092) and item B.5 (WA05/0222) as a Cranleigh Parish Councillor and Chair of the Parish Council’s Planning Surveillance Committee.
Mr M H W Band declared a personal interest in agenda items 8(a), 8(b) and 8(c) as he resides within 100m of the site.
Mr J M Savage declared a personal interest in items B.2 (WA02/1450) and B.3 (WA05/0084) as he had bought a car supplied by this garage.
Mr K T Reed declared a personal and prejudicial interest in item B.4 (WA05/0176) and withdrew from the Chamber during discussion and voting on the item.

APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
(Agenda Item 6)
RESOLVED that the applications for planning permission, as set out in the Schedule attached, be determined as shown in column 3 thereof and that the decisions of the Director of Planning and Development set out in Schedule C be noted.
[Note: Mr K T Reed requested that his vote against application WA05/0092 be recorded]
74.
COXLAND ESTATE, SOMERSBURY LANE, EWHURST: LEGAL AGREEMENT
(see also application WA03/2299 in Schedule attached)
RESOLVED that, subject to the applicants entering into a legal agreement not to undertake or permit the undertaking of any works on the land or otherwise do or allow to be done anything on the land that would result in any new residential accommodation on the land in association with the livery business, permission be GRANTED for application WA03/2299.
(For the avoidance of doubt this obligation would not prevent the owner from applying for planning permission for minor extensions including granny annexe, conservatory, etc, in connection with the pre-existing dwellings on the land.)
75.
NEWHOUSE FARM, KNOWLE LANE, CRANLEIGH: LEGAL AGREEMENT
(see also application WA05/0222 in Schedule attached)
RESOLVED to recommend to the Development Control Committee that the Section 106 Agreement relating to this building (WA91/1166 refers) be rescinded (all costs to be borne by the applicant) and permission be GRANTED for application WA05/0222.
