70. MINUTES (Agenda Item 1)

The Minutes of the Meeting held on 2nd March 2005 were confirmed and signed.

71. APOLOGY FOR ABSENCE (Agenda Item 2)

An apology for absence was received from Mrs C E Savage.

72. DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS (Agenda Item 3)

The following interests were declared:

Mrs P Ellis declared a personal interest in agenda item 5.1 (applications WA04/2587 and WA05/0092) and item B.5 (WA05/0222) as a Cranleigh Parish Councillor and Chair of the Parish Council’s Planning Surveillance Committee.

Mr M H W Band declared a personal interest in agenda items 8(a), 8(b) and 8(c) as he resides within 100m of the site.

73. APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION (Agenda Item 6)

RESOLVED that the applications for planning permission, as set out in the Schedule attached, be determined as shown in column 3 thereof and that the decisions of the Director of Planning and Development set out in Schedule C be noted.

[Note: Mr K T Reed requested that his vote against application WA05/0092 be recorded]



74. COXLAND ESTATE, SOMERSBURY LANE, EWHURST: LEGAL AGREEMENT
(see also application WA03/2299 in Schedule attached)

75. NEWHOUSE FARM, KNOWLE LANE, CRANLEIGH: LEGAL AGREEMENT
(see also application WA05/0222 in Schedule attached)

76. PLANNING APPEALS (Agenda Item 7)

RESOLVED that the report be noted.

77. ENFORCEMENT ACTION – CURRENT SITUATION (Agenda Item 8)
