The Minutes of the Meeting held on 3rd September 2007 were confirmed and signed.

APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs Mrs Beel, Mr Connolly, Mr Edwards, Mrs Fleming, Mrs Frost, Mr Frost, Mr Goodridge, Mrs Hargreaves, Mr Hill, Mr Hubble, Mr Isherwood, Mrs King, Mr Lovell, Mr O’Grady, Mr Pritchard, Mrs Savage, and Mr Savage.

DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS
Cllr P J Martin declared a personal interest as he is the Executive Member for Environment on Surrey County Council, including responsibility for the Transportation Development Control Department.
Cllr Mrs Wheatley declared a personal interest as she had had a past professional relationship with Mrs Mason, who would be speaking on behalf of the Tuesley Farm Campaign.

LAND AT TUESLEY FARM, TUESLEY LANE, GODALMING - WA/2007/1962
[Bramley, Busbridge & Hascombe and Witley & Hambledon]
A full report on application WA/2007/1962, land at Tuesley Farm, Tuesley Lane, Godalming had been circulated with the agenda. A site visit to Tuesley Farm had been arranged for Members on the morning of 14th November.
The purpose of the meeting was to assist Members in clarifying any points about which they were unclear or required further information. Members were able to question officers and the applicant, and heard from interested parties, including Natural England, Surrey Wildlife Trust, SEEDA, CPRE, National Farmers’ Union, Friends of the Earth, parish councils, the Tuesley Farm Supporters Campaign, and the Tuesley Farm Campaign.
The questions raised and the responses are attached at
Annexe 1.
At the next meeting of the Committee, on Wednesday 28th November 2007, Members would be asked to consider, debate and determine the application.
