30. MINUTES

The Minutes of the Meeting held on 15th August 2001 were confirmed and signed.

31. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND SUBSTITUTIONS

Apologies for absence were received from Mrs C Craig and Mrs E H Denningberg.

32. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY AND OTHER INTERESTS (Agenda Item 3)

The following declarations of interest were made:

Mrs M Nyazai, Mr B G Shelley and Mrs P N Mitchell declared non-pecuniary interests in applications WA01/0800, WA01/1314 and WA01/1268 respectively, and each left the meeting during consideration of these items and did not take part in the discussion or voting thereon.

33. APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION (Agenda Item 5)

RESOLVED that the applications for planning permission, as set out in the Schedule attached, be determined as shown in column 3 thereof and that the decisions of the Director of Planning and Development set out in Schedule C, be noted.

34. TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 – LEGAL AGREEMENT – LAND AT LANGHAM PARK, CATTESHALL LANE, GODALMING
(See also application WA01/0547 in Schedule attached)

RESOLVED that planning permission be GRANTED, subject to no objection on highway grounds and confirmation being received from the Highway Authority that a suitable Green Travel Plan has been agreed between the Highway Authority and the Developer and subject to prior completion of a legal agreement within six months and at the applicants’ own expense, to ensure:

1. an acceptable proportion of small industrial units is provided as part of the overall scheme;

2. appropriate developer contributions in respect of the implementation of a programme of archaeological work, the level of funding to be determined in conjunction with the County Archaeologist; and

3. the implementation of the measures contained within the Draft Travel Plan prepared by Mayer and Brown and letter dated 4th September 2001.

35. PLANNING APPEALS (Agenda Item 6)

RESOLVED that the report be noted.

36. ENFORCEMENT ACTION – CURRENT SITUATION (Agenda Item 7)

RESOLVED that the report be noted.
