Community Sports Leadership Award (for young people not in employment, education or training).
Advertise locally run courses in summer (none run directly).
Youth Council (“YELL”) run by Youth Development Service
ElmbridgeDirectly provided Play schemes (“shout”)– 6 holidays a year approx 3500 places: Summer – 2 Arts and Crafts, 5 Play scheme Sites, 1 Woodland Adventure. Easter – 2 Play scheme, 1 Arts and Craft, 1 Woodland. Oct and Feb – 1 Play scheme and 1 Arts and Craft
Shout Louder (11-18’s)
Arts activities: workshops, lectures, Elmbridge Museum, bands in parks. Arts grant aid/advice via Rose Briar Trust & Arts Officer
Sports Development: Surrey Youth Games, Active surrey, club development (basketball, boccia, etc).
Additional funding received from Active England to build on Health Promotion & employ officer to work with young people: healthy lifestyles (inc. exercise referral & healthy walks).
