WAVERLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL
CAR PARK CHARGES
Set out below is a summary of the increases to Car Parking Charges which were agreed by the Executive on 30th September (the full schedule of charges is also attached herewith):-
KEY CHANGES APPROXIMATE EXTRA INCOME
From 1st December 2003:-
SHOPPERS CHARGES Extra Income £210,000pa.
35p to 40p (for 45 minutes)
50p to 60p (for 2 hours)
50p to 60p (per hour in prime-sites)
LONG-STAY CHARGES Extra Income £60,000pa.
Additional 50p per day in some car parks.
And
From 1ST April 2004:-
SEASON TICKETS Extra Income £30,000pa.
This raises Season Ticket income
from £240,000 to £270,000 (12.5%).

Total additional income for 2003-2004 £90,000.

Total additional income for 2004-2005 £300,000
