19. PRIVATE HIRE DRIVER’S LICENCE
((Exempt) Appendix A)

Having interviewed the applicant and taken into account the officer’s report the Sub-Committee

RESOLVED that B G be granted the licence applied for as the Sub-Committee was satisfied that he was a fit and proper person to hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence.

20. PRIVATE HIRE DRIVER’S LICENCE
((Exempt) Appendix B)

The Licensing Officer informed the Sub-Committee that every effort had been made to contact this Hackney Carriage/Private Hire driver, but without success. The Assistant Solicitor to the Council advised Members that the Sub-Committee may determine the matter in the absence of the applicant or defer to a later date.

The Sub-Committee agreed to determine the matter in the absence of the applicant and

RESOLVED that, due to the concerns of the Sub-Committee that the licensee had proved himself to be an untrustworthy person, the licence issued to T W C be revoked on the grounds that he is not a fit and proper person to hold a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence.
