Surrey Global Grants 2004

Surrey Global Grants supports local community groups who provide opportunities for people not in paid work who live in targeted areas of Surrey to develop the skills they need to progress towards paid work, voluntary work or training.

In 2004 the Global Grants target areas in Waverley were Godalming NE & SW and Sandy Hill in Upper Hale. In January 2005 new target areas for Surrey Global Grants were approved. The Global Grants target areas for 2005 & 2006 are Godalming Central & Ockford, Godalming Farncombe & Catteshall, Godalming Binscombe wards, the Sandy Hill estate in Upper Hale and The Chantrys in Farnham.

In 2004 Surrey Global Grants funded 29 community groups and awarded £187,406.18 in grants

In 2004 Surrey Global Grants funded six community groups in Waverley. The total amount awarded to projects based in Waverley was £29,661.67.
