A. HOUSE-TO-HOUSE COLLECTIONS – CANVASSING FOR DIRECT DEBIT MANDATES
[Wards Affected: All]

Your Committee has considered a request for permission to conduct house-to-house collections seeking direct debit mandates which was deferred at its last meeting and has refused the application on the grounds that it was not given sufficient relevant information to enable the application to be determined.

B. APPLICATIONS FOR ANNUAL PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCES
[Wards Affected: All]

Your Committee has considered unopposed applications for one renewal and two further new annual Public Entertainment Licences, and has granted the licences applied for, subject to appropriate conditions to meet the requirements of Waverley's Regulations and General Conditions, including the maximum number of persons to be admitted, and to the individual conditions set out in the report.

C. ACTION TAKEN SINCE LAST MEETING

The action taken by the Chief Executive since the last meeting of the Committee, as set out in the agenda, has been noted.

D. APPLICATION FOR HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE DRIVER'S LICENCE
[Wards Affected: N/A]

Your Committee has considered, with the press and public excluded, an application for a hackney carriage/private hire driver's licence. Having given consideration to the details set out in the report (referred to at (Exempt) Appendix C to the agenda for the meeting) and interviewing the applicant, the Committee has granted the licence.

E. LICENCE TO BREED DOGS
[Ward Affected: Frensham, Dockenfield and Tilford]

Your Committee has considered, with the press and public excluded, an application for the renewal of a licence to keep a breeding establishment for dogs at Keepers Cottage Stud, Crooksbury, Tilford, Farnham. Having considered the information in the report (referred to at (Exempt) Appendix D to the agenda) and interviewing the applicant and his vet, the Committee has refused the licence.
