The Minutes of the Meeting held on 5th September 2005 were confirmed and signed.

Apologies for absence were received from, Mr P B Isherwood, Mrs J R Keen and Mr A E B Taylor-Smith. Mrs C Cockburn and Mr J M Savage attended as substitutes.

RESOLVED that the reports on the following matters be noted:

47. SOUTHERN AREA DEVELOPMENT CONTROL SUB-COMMITTEE (Appendix B)

RESOLVED that the reports on the following matters be noted:

(iii) Enforcement Action (Item C)

48. EASTERN AREA DEVELOPMENT CONTROL SUB-COMMITTEE (Appendix C)

(a) Erection of a two storey building to provide a 50-bed care home together with ancillary works (revision of WA/2005/0539) on land at Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh

RESOLVED that
1. officers be given delegated powers to enter into discussion with the applicants for the provision of additional overflow parking; and

2. permission for application WA/2005/1521 be GRANTED subject to the completion of departure procedures, and subject to conditions set out in the agenda report.

[In accordance with the guidelines for the public participation at meetings, the following representations were made in respect of application WA/2005/1521 and were duly considered:

49. WESTERN AREA DEVELOPMENT CONTROL SUB-COMMITTEE (Appendix D)

(a) (i) Erection of a building to provide display space following demolition of existing building and extensions at Rural Life Centre, The Reeds, Tilford

RESOLVED that permission for application WA/2005/1495 be GRANTED subject to the completion of departure procedures, and subject to conditions set out in the agenda report.

(ii) Retention of dwelling (dwelling constructed varies from plans approved under WA/2003/2337) at Pooh Corner, Whitmead Lane, Tilford

RESOLVED that permission for application WA/2005/1566 be GRANTED.

50. TANYARD FARM, WOODHILL LANE, SHAMLEY GREEN (Appendix E)

RESOLVED that Waverley Borough Council, acting as the Local Planning Authority, decline to determine application WA/2005/1781 for the reason set out in the agenda report.
