ANNEXE 1 TO
APPENDIX D
WAVERLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL

COMMUNITY OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY COMMITTEE – 3RD MARCH 2003

Title:
DAY CENTRE ACTIVITY IN WAVERLEY

Revenue Funding of Day Centres and Meals-on-Wheels by Surrey Authorities

This Table contains information from the current Budget Books of each of the District/Borough authorities in Surrey showing how much revenue is expended on day centre and meals-on-wheels services.

To put this information in context it is worth noting that there are differing numbers of day centres, some local authorities manage all the day centres in their Borough directly, others – like Waverley support voluntary groups that run centres, and in some other Boroughs there is a mixed approach.
