Planning Code – Overview
Scoping Report to Committee on 2/4/01. Full report received from DA, currently being considered by the Sub-Group. Sub-Group set up to consider Planning Code of Conduct, questionnaire circulated to all members. Responses due back by 31st August. Report expected at November meeting of Committee once progress made by Sub-Group.

Godalming Key Site
Following the withdrawal of WWF, the developer for this site has been assembling a new proposal. Discussions on the property aspects are still progressing. The planning issues will follow. This is expected to be later in 2001.
Affordable Housing (also under Community O and S)
Joint working with Community O and S. Workshop planned, to which all members of the council invited, as well as reps from police and health authority, to take place on 30th October 2001.

Future of Dunsfold Airfield
Now that the legal issues surrounding the present planning status of the site have been settled, BAE Systems are still considering their future proposals.
Integration of Waste and Recyclable Collection
Scoping report to Committee on 5/6/01. Waste Management Review SIG established – to meet on 18/9/01 and report back to next applicable meeting of Environment O and S

Year Two Fundamental Service Review. Received legal advice. Service Review Group considering a range of options – anticipate completing review by the end of the year, to be able to report early in 2002

Godalming Leisure Needs
(a) Godalming Skate Park agreed and currently out to tender with a view to implementation as soon as possible.
(b) Broadwater Park – ‘Parklife’ report expected in the near future – to feed through to this Committee.
