 ProposalApplication for works to trees subject to Tree Preservation Order 12/99.

The following numbers refer to the TPO document:

Horse chestnut:T1 - remove epicormic growth. Tip prune away from telephone line to maintain a 1-1.5m clearance.
Norway maple:T2 - seperation pruning of the tree to maintain a 1-1.5m clearance between the tree and the house.
Cherry:T4 - light crown thin to 15% maximum removing the younger water shoots from within the canopy.
Horse chestnut:T13 - tip back one overextended leader whilst maintaining a natural canopy line.
Ash:T16 - crown raise lower trailing lateral branches to match the existing lower canopy level.
Yew:T18 - crown lift lower trailing branches to 3m. Tip reduce the overextended growth on the roadside to maintain a natural flowing canopy line.
Sweet chestnut:T28 - remove 3 lower limbs encroaching on the garage.
Oak:T47 - fell and replace with 8-10cm girth, 2-2.5m tall oak.
Oak:T54 - rear of no. 38 Clare Mead, crown raise to the height of the main crown break. Crown thin to a maximum of 15% to include the removal of all defective and crossing branches.
Atlas cedar:T56 - crown raise by the removal of 3 lower secondary branches.
Oak:T58 - tip reduce the two overextended branches whilst maintaining a natural flowing canopy line.
Woodland:W1 - remove two smaller beech adjacent to a prominent sweet chestnut in the corner of the woodland to the rear of no. 34 The Copse. Crown raise to a height of 4m the larger specimen trees amongst the woodland. Crwon raise to 1.5m the younger understory trees within this woodland.
Woodland:W2 - fell six smaller supressed and drawn up cypress (selective thinning), tip back the growth encroaching on the path, north of no's 6-20 Clare Mead. 1 beech to the rear of no. 20 Clare Mead, crown thin a maximum of 20% to include the removal of defective and crossing branches. 3 small drawn up oak stems (150-200mm dbh) to fell to ground level.
